Some Baby Talk

Hello,

It's been sometime since I have posted anything on my blog. I had been busy with my little naughty girl for sometime now. She is 16 months old now and she does keep me on my toes. She has learned to speak few words and the best one among that is "Attichum" (means "Will beat you"). The actual malayalam word is "Adikkum" but she says it like this. Even though she says it angrily, it sounds cute.

My hus took her for a walk today and while she was running, he poked her back and she turned around raised her index finger and said "Attichum". He he. She is real fun to be with.

She has got elephant ears or we say "Aana chevi" in Malayalam. That is considered as a sign of luck among people of Kerala. Just thought of googling about it but couldn't find much info. These are all just rumours, I believe. Anyway, it is nice to hear such funny facts. It makes you feel good about your child. One another thing is that she has "koottu purikam" which means her 2 eyebrows meet at the centre of the forehead. This is considered as bad luck and so I think the good and the bad cancel each other and everything is fine now ;)

She loves to act like putting me to sleep and would stay still if I would lay my head on her lap. She would look in between to see if I am sleeping. This is one of the best thing I have ever experienced. To be loved with such innocence at heart. My heart feels so happy at that time. I really do not know how to put this in words.

I guess you have started feeling bored reading this. I shall stop now and get back to you sometime. May be after another year. :D

I have to say one more thing in case this would help me in this situation. I was in tour last week in Germany and I lost my mobile phone which was a Nokia e51 which was like my life partner. It has got a Lyca sim card in it and I believe I lost it while in transit from Frankfurt to Triberg. I really do miss my mobile since it used to be like my personal assistant. It helped me remember my friends' birthdays, used it for watching movies, checking my facebook and gmail, was my store of precious memories from my previous company in Chennai. Everything lost! So friends, if any one is planning to visit Triberg this summer, do have a look out for my mobile and if you do find it, post a comment here and I am sure to reward you something BIG! I do really miss my mobile...... :(

Love you folks and thanks for reading! Time to sleep......zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
